Annual College Scholarship Award

DGD Garage Doors takes great pride in our community efforts in the areas we service. We recognize how important, and expensive, a college education can be. To help our community continue to achieve greater accomplishments, DGD awards an annual, non-renewable $500 scholarship to one deserving individual to use at a trade school, college, or university.

Requirements

The applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be either a high school senior OR a student currently attending an accredited University or College in the U.S. OR attending an accredited trade school.
• The applicant must currently have a High School or College G.P.A. greater than or equal to 3.0. Applicant must reside in the state of Florida.
• The applicant must submit an essay with a minimum of 500 words on the topic of work ethic.

How to Apply

To apply for the scholarship, submit your essay using the form below or email your essay and contact information to operations@dgdoors.com. Winners will be chosen by December 1st every year and notified. Upon acceptance of the scholarship award, we will invite you to our corporate office to receive the check. Your photo and essay will be displayed on our website until the following year's awardee is announced.
